ASIAN - MRA
READY-TO-USE CHEMICAL MOULD RELEASE AGENT
PRODUCT :
(1) Appearance : Free flowing clear light-brown liquid.
(2) Density : 0.83 ± 0 02.
(3) Flash Point : Above 65°C.
(4) Temperature Effect: Suitable for application in tropical areas and for use with steam cured concrete.
(5) Performance : Highly effective in releasing form work, does not stain concrete, improves surface finish andean be used with white cement.
(6) Storage life : At least one year. The sealed barrels should be stored in the shade because the barrels kept near fire or in the blazing sun develops pressure inside the barrels.
(7) Handling : Being solvent - containing material, it should be handled with gloves. Any splashes on the skin should be washed with soap and water.
(7) Coverage : 20 to 60 ms per litre. The coverage largely depends on the way of handling, porosity and texture of the form-work of the mould surfaces.
(8) Packing : 200 Lit steel barrels.
ASIAN-MAR is a ready-to-use chemically blended high-grade refined mineral oil product which has great releasing effect on the hardened concrete-surfaces and is superior in performance than a conventional mould oil.
The chemical reaction of the ingradients with concrete produces thin micro-molecular film over the mould shuttering which acts as a protective film over the steel as well as wooden formwork and helps in easy stripping of the form work. ASIAN-MRA, once sets and hardens, does not have flamabllity risk.

APPLICATION :
ASIAN-MRA is a ready-to-use thin liquid suitable for smooth, non absorbent form—work such as steel, plastic, wood or modified wood, glass fibre etc. The product gives best performance when applied on the shuttering uniformly in as thin a coat as possible by means of a pump, sponge, cloth or brush. For excellent results, it is sprayed on with any conventional mould oil sprayer with correct nozzle tip.
ASIAN-MRA must not be applied on wet-surfaces as it leaves voids with detrimental effect on the surface when the shutterings are removed. The product, once applied and dried, acts as a protective coat and there is no harmful effect over it due to strong pelting rain, water or moisture. Also, the shutterings treated with ASIAN-MRA and left exposed for some time have no harmful effect in case, some portion is damaged or too much soiled and mechanically removed, it should be re-done by brushing off or wiping out the adhered particles and re-coating the damaged part of the surface with ASIAN-MRA. In .situations, where ASIAN-MRA is to be removed completely for the application of ASIAN-PCP polyurethane Protective Coat Paint, a strong synthetic detergent SUPER BRIGHT.10 should be used with hard brushing and surfaces rinsed with clean water.
